Who and what is a Kendrick Lamar you are asking? Well, he is one of the best rappers in today's generation. 

Some of you may or may not agree, but I am a very big fan of Kendrick Lamar and I have been following him and his music for a very long time.

   The reason I love his music is because he is not a rapper that raps about girls in a inappropriate way or he does not promote drugs stating it is something "cool" to do, but he raps about everyday life and struggles.

I am a fan of his lyrics and his mindset. He is constantly rapping about problems going on in the world today and whatever he feels passionate about, he releases it in his music.

His music is something that many people can relate to when it comes to struggling in life with money, depression, politics/ discriminations, addictions, and getting past these struggles for a better life.

I can go on about how much his music means to me, but my main reason I am talking about him is because for my 21st birthday, my friend surprised me with the most heart whelming present I have ever received in my life.

He and my family knew how much I loved Kendrick Lamar and during that time, Kendrick had announced his DAMN tour, so as a surprise, my friend surprised me with a VIP meet and greet ticket to his concert! 

Nothing in the world could describe how shocked and excited I was. I cried from gratitude and I could not stop thanking him. This was definitely a time to remember with him!

All I can say is, that day was one of the best days of my life! Since morning to the end of the night driving home, it was nothing but good vibes from everyone we encountered that day.
