Not only can you spend time with your friends and family while drinking, but here is the good part, you can also do it while painting! yes, I know it's too good to be true.
The small shop is called Canvas and Cabernet. To get in and be able to paint, you must reserve your spots. Admission for one person is $40. It is a little expensive but it is so worth it. Once you have reserved a spot, they then ask you if you are above 21 years-old so they can allow you to drink wine.
I have visited this place once and it is something I would keep coming back to. My friend has always know art is something I am very passionate about and art is something I love doing on my free time.
One day, he surprised me by taking me there. When we walked inside, everyone greeted us and introduced themselves to us. The employees were beyond friendly and made us feel welcomed. If you are not old enough to drink alcohol, no worries! Canvas and Cabernet reserves special separate seats for those who cannot drink.
My friend at that time was 20 years-old and was not going to be able to drink with me, so they reserved two private seats just for him and I. We were still able to see the instructors and interact with others who sat with those who were able to drink.

Throughout the class, the instructor goes step by step on showing you how to paint a scenery. When we went, they were teaching us how to paint a scenery of the ocean bellow the Bay Area bridge. While we painted, the instructor would walk around and help those that needed help.
There were many people there that have never painted and it was their first time trying it. They told me they would always come a couple times a month because the staff here were always sweet and patient. So, if you are not so much of an artist, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Most likely you will not be the only person there being a first-timer.
What I loved most about this place was that while we painted, there was all types of music playing. Hearing good music, enjoying your company, and sipping on some wine must have been one of my favorite things to do. I was able to relax and enjoy myself.
You do not have to be only an adult to participate. There are classes in the day time for kids, a great way to spend time with your kids. If you take your child there to paint, the instructors teach them how to draw animals and flowers of all different sorts.
Canvas and Cabernet is open to everyone! plus, it is not just an art class. inside the small shop there are many different types of products you can buy, like souvenirs, pens and notebooks, there are fashionable scarves or socks, their own special scented candles, and many small decorations for your house.
