Los Gatos Meadows.

I have worked at a retirement home for over three years. This job has meant a lot to me because it taught me many things throughout my life. 

I have grown so much throughout the time I have been working here and I have met so many people there, (including my best friend) whom I got along with so well.

This job has given me so many ups and downs. There were times when I hated the job and was so exhausted, but there were times when I would love to be at work and be surrounded by my coworkers I enjoyed. 

Not only did I get along well with my coworkers, but I loved spending time with the residents that lived there. All the residents there were always so loving and opening to me. They would always tell me to consider them all as a grandparent to me. 

Working there was so special to me because the residents would complain to me as to how their families would never visit them or they would tell them they had other things planned.

Being able to be there for them, when others couldn't, meant so much to me. Being able to make them laugh and make them feel as if they were home brought me the most happiness.

I do not work there anymore but the thing I miss the very most, was that Los Gatos Meadows always had the most beautiful scenery. 

They always had the most beautiful flowers and the best views. This is something I will cherish forever.
